Opening a Personal Bank Account in Portugal
Documents required
- Copy of your passport
- Proof of permanent address (utility bill or bank statement from the last three months)
- Proof of your tax identification number in your country of tax residence
- Proof of profession (employer certificate stating your position)
Banks accept documents in Portuguese, English and Spanish. For any other language, a notarised translation into English plus legalisation is required.
